Managing PNACAC Organizational Membership

PNACAC's membership structure allows professionals working at the same organization to be linked to a parent organizational membership. For example, a high school can be an organizational member and each of its counselors can have individual membership linked to that high school. One of those individuals - usually the one who applied for PNACAC membership - will be designated the Key Contact for the entire organizational membership. All individuals associated with an organization have their own Linked Profiles, including the Key Contact. The organization also has its own Organization Profile.

PNACAC Membership runs from July 1 - June 30.  Membership fees are not prorated; any payments made for the current membership year apply from the time they are made until the end of that cycle.

The Key Contact is responsible for:

  • Verifying and attesting to membership eligibility
  • Receiving membership invoicing and renewal notifications
  • Ensuring the Organizational Profile is complete and up to date
  • Ensuring all professionals associated with Organizational Membership keep their Linked Profiles up to date


Managing Organizational Information & Logo

Once you submit a membership application or renewal form, we recommend taking these steps:

  1. Log in to the PNACAC website (click on the blue Member Login button on the top right).
  2. Click on the link for My Profile.
  3. Hover over the gray My Profile tab at the top and select "Your Organization" from the drop-down menu.
    • Click the Edit button to edit information about your organization (only Key Contacts can edit this information). Click the green Save button.
    • Click the "Change Profile Picture" link at the top to upload a logo (only Key Contacts can upload a logo). Click the green Save button.
    • Click the "Individual Profiles" link at the top to review your Linked Profiles (see below).


Managing Linked Profiles

Q: How do I know who is linked to my organizational membership?

A: Follow the steps above and click on "Individual Profiles." Any Linked Profile can see other Linked Profiles in their organization. However, Key Contacts can:

  • View/edit who else is a Key Contact in their organization
  • Edit a Linked Member's username, name, email address, and position title
  • Unlink a member from the organization.

Q: How do I add profiles for other professionals in my organization?

A: Only Key Contacts can add Linked Profiles. To do so, take the steps below:

  1. Follow the steps above to navigate to your organization's profile, then to "Individual Profiles."
  2. Click the Create Linked Profile button at the top left.
  3. Enter a username (we recommend using their professional email address), name, and professional email address. Click the green Save button or Save and Add Another button.
  4. Each new linked member will need to complete the account creation process on their own. Direct each linked member to start at the Reset Password page to retrieve a password creation link and then log in using the username you created for them.

Q: I just created a Linked Profile from the Individual Profiles page. Is that all I need to do to add someone to our organizational membership?

A: Close, but not quite! Ensure you set their username as their professional email address (you can edit this field in their profile). You will then need to follow step #4 above to ensure that the new linked member can log in to finalize their own profile by going to

Q: An individual in my organization already has a PNACAC account, but they aren't linked to our organization's membership. What do I do?

A: We can link them for you! Email [email protected] with their full name(s) and username(s).

Q: Someone linked to my organization now works for a different PNACAC organizational member. Should I unlink their profile?

A: Yes! However, we can also change the organization to which they are linked. Feel free to direct them to email [email protected] or to the Managing your Member Profile page.
